Our Work
The FIFE engagement programme seeks to engage college students, and teachers on ideas to make the world a safer and shared space for everyone, whereby sexual harassment and related discriminatory beliefs and practices are unacceptable. Breaking gender stereotypes and expectations and ensuring awareness of basic human rights and entitlement among everyone paves the way for facilitating a conducive environment where people are given equal treatment, access, and opportunities.
The programme comprises training programmes and sessions for students on gender equality and conducts conversations, discussions, and allied public sensitization/awareness events on Gender-Based Violence and Discrimination.
Our sessions are activity-based sessions, consisting of various games, theatre, interactive activities, group activities, case studies, and videos.
Gender Certificate Course
A 40 hours certificate course on Gender covering every aspect of gender including, consent, domestic violence and redressal mechanism, media, sexuality, mental health, disability, child rights, etc. The course delves into advanced topics, like History of Feminism and Women’ Movements, Gender and sexuality, Gender and child rights, Gender and law, sexuality and disability, SRHR, etc.

Anti Swear Brigade
The Anti Swear Brigade is an impactful campaign with the aim of raising awareness about the harmful effects of abusive language. This campaign strives to educate individuals about the meaning and origins of cuss words, highlighting their misogynistic and demeaning nature. By addressing important issues such as power dynamics, patriarchy, violence, and anger management, the Anti Swear Brigade encourages participants to recognize the deeper implications of abusive language and commit to refraining from using it. Join us in creating a more respectful and inclusive society by taking a stand against abusive language and promoting gender sensitivity.
Climate through the lens of Gender
This campaign aims to raise awareness about how climate change affects individuals differently based on their gender and promotes a more inclusive and equitable approach to climate action. Founder & CEO
Shubhika
With an extensive portfolio spanning over 7 years in film production and social media campaigning, SHUBHIKA brings forth a unique amalgamation of proficiency in social work, gender studies, storytelling, and filmmaking to generate a profound impact in society. Owing to her extensive experience, she has conducted over a thousand workshops and training sessions, empowering individuals and communities alike to take affirmative action towards social justice.
As a distinguished writer, professor, and storyteller, the social worker has written and directed more than 35 campaign films that have not only raised awareness on critical issues but also driven positive change. The author's contributions extend to the development sector as well, as they have been actively involved in collaborating with several international organizations since 2017.
In 2020, Shubhika founded FIFE, which aims to foster gender equality and empowerment for individuals and communities. As a representative of FIFE, she is actively engaged in spreading awareness and inspiring positive change in over 25 colleges of Delhi University.
Given their unwavering passion for this work, the author has been privileged to deliver numerous public speeches and partake in various panels on gender-related issues. Her strong commitment to social change and advocacy for intersectional feminism and social justice fuels their drive to continue making a meaningful impact in the world.
